When does Surety Insurance expire?

Most Surety Insurance policies do not have an expiration date. They expire when the obligations of the Holder come to an end, that is to say, when the main obligation expires, the same happens with the guarantee. Given this situation, the Insurer must return the surety policy to the Holder, who will in turn return it to the Company so he/she is disaffected. Otherwise, the Company must receive other documentation that proves the cessation of the obligations.

When is the damage established in Surety Insurance?

Surety policies do not cover claims on first demand. There are a series of steps to be taken in order for the damage to be established.
